Dr Brett Delahunty and his business-savvy wife, Seonaid Delahunty, returned to Bundaberg in 2023 with a shared vision to strengthen an area of critical need — anaesthesia services within the region. From this vision, Embrace Anaesthesia was born, formerly known as Bundaberg Anaesthesia Specialists.

What began as a humble, collaborative team approach has since grown into a large, highly cohesive practice. Since September 2024, Embrace Anaesthesia has brought together 13 specialist anaesthetists united by a shared commitment to teamwork, innovation, and patient-centred care. Under Seonaid’s leadership, the practice has evolved into a well-managed, supportive, and forward-thinking service.
