Georgia Laing

Georgia began her nursing journey in 2016 in Wellington, New Zealand, completing her Bachelor of Nursing in 2019.

Since graduating, she has built a diverse and well-rounded clinical background, working across multiple specialties including Theatre and Recovery, Postnatal care, Delivery Suite, and Private Gastroenterology.

Her passion for supporting women and families led her to establish and run her own Early Pregnancy Clinic, where she provides compassionate care to those experiencing early pregnancy concerns and loss—an area of practice she holds close to her heart.

Georgia’s inspiration to become a nurse came from a single visit to the hospital to see a family member. She immediately felt drawn to the energy, teamwork, and purpose within the hospital environment and knew it was where she wanted to build her career.

Alongside her clinical roles, Georgia is enjoying her time with Bundaberg Anaesthesia Specialists, gaining insight into the behind-the-scenes coordination that brings each surgical list together, and the skill and dedication of the anaesthetists she works alongside.

Outside of work, Georgia is a devoted mum of two. She and her husband spend much of their time on the go—between their four-year-old’s dance classes and their little boy’s rugby trainings, life is full and busy, just the way they love it.

Georgia brings warmth, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care to every role she takes on, making her an invaluable part of the team.
