Dr Pratley is a Specialist Anaesthetist based on the Gold Coast, with advanced training in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. He completed both his Pharmacy and Medical degrees at Griffith University, graduating with an Academic Excellence Award. Early in his career, Dr Pratley gained extensive experience working in Toowoomba and surrounding rural areas, broadening his expertise across a wide range of clinical settings.

Dr Pratley’s current practice is shared between public and private hospitals on the Gold Coast. He provides anaesthesia for many surgical specialties, including cardiology, hepatobiliary and bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics, and gynaecology.

Growing up on the Gold Coast, Dr Pratley enjoys surfing, playing soccer, and making music. Outside of work, he spends most of his time driving his three children to sporting events and attempting to convert his garage into a functional home gym.
