Dr Huw John

Dr Huw John is a New Zealand-born anaesthetist who brings a broad, adaptable skill set shaped by work across a wide range of hospitals throughout Australia.

Originally from New Zealand, Huw completed his medical degree at the University of Otago, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2014, before relocating across the Tasman to continue his training and career in anaesthesia.

He achieved Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2022, reflecting his advanced training and commitment to the highest professional standards in anaesthetic practice.

Alongside his formal training, Dr John has gained extensive experience in diverse regional and metropolitan healthcare settings, allowing him to integrate seamlessly into new teams and models of care.
